The care certainly continued this year as Shaggy's Make A Difference Foundation harnessed the generosity and dedication of fans and supporters to raise money for the newly constructed Cardiac Ward at the Bustamante Children's Hospital.

The event was introduced as a sustainable event in 2003 in order to garner funds for the hospital. On Saturday night, the long line of traffic leading into the Jamaica House venue spoke volumes of the support and pledges made to the event for this staging.

With the slogan '1 ticket = 1 life' etched in the minds of Jamaicans, Shaggy told The Gleaner that he was happy with the turnout for the January 4 event. "Very much so. We were really satisfied and thankful for the support," Shaggy said.

With a star-studded line-up that featured 2013 The Voice winner Tessanne Chin, fellow competitor Matthew Schuler, international superstar NeYo, and a plethora of local artistes such as Wayne Marshall, Assassin, Carlene Davis, Tarrus Riley, Chronixx, Macka Diamond, and Elephant Man, patrons were treated to a spectacular event.
