Dancehall artist Gage sat down with Winford Williams of Onstage TV to shed some light on his musical journey.

Gage is a product of May Pen, Clarendon and hope to someday become the world's DJ. Hew grew up without a mother and gives a lot of props to his father claiming that his father "raised a soldier". Aside from support from family and friends he also got inspiration from other artist including Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer and Bob Marley. According to Gage, he's an 'adopter' and he's ready to fill the void left in dancehall.

While not suited for everyone, his controversial song title "Throat" is getting a lot of buzz in the dancehall space with female fans being his biggest supporters.

Reggae Sumfest 2014 is fast approaching, and as we all know this is no doubt the greatest reggae show on earth. Gage the 'burning sun' will be performing Live Dancehall Night, July 17th. Check out his live performance of "Belly Roll", track produced by Dutty Fridaze Promotions.
